Responsibilities

In Belgium -- Working to see His Church and His churches growing and multiplying by:

Ø  Establishing a regional, culturally visible, outwardly focused, socially conscious, mobilizing church in Huy, Belgium (presently serving as pastoral couple).

Ø  Overseeing the social center connected to the church (non-profit) as it operates a food bank, a soup distribution ministry and fourteen apartments for low income people.

Ø  Fostering growth in evangelical churches through conferences, teaching, mentoring and book writing.

Ø  Advising for he establishment of a UWM hub in Brussels that includes a holistic church-planting venture that is able to welcome, mentor and train young people while serving as a first step in fielding career missionaries to all UWM fields.

Ø  Exploring new forms of evangelism, church growth and church-planting for post-moderns.

Ø  Organizing and coordinating a support group for evangelical church planters and a mentoring community for leaders investing in younger evangelists and future leaders.

Ø  Mentoring and training lay evangelists through the “Jonah Association.”

In Europe

Ø   Serve as Regional Leader for all UWM ministries and missionaries in Europe. 

International 

Ø  President of “The Global Evangelists’ Forum” leading to see a generation of new evangelists raised around the world.

Ø  Chairman of the Board for “The Global Evangelists Forum”.

Ø  Providing leadership and supervision for all UWM personel serving in Europe

Ø  Speaking at conferences and teaching at Bible Institutes in various countries.

Daniel and Myriam are serving with United World Mission.  They make their home in Belgium, Western Europe.  

AROUND THE WORLD THEY SEEK TO

See a generation of new evangelists identified, mobilized, trained and deployed in every country of the world by serving as President of the Global Evangelists Forum. This organization seeks to establish and encourage national and indigenous chapters of the GEF all over the world.  

IN EUROPE THEY SEEK TO

Provide oversight and leadership to all the United World Mission ministries and missionaries. 

IN BELGIUM THEY SEEK TO

Establish a strong, visible, contextualized, outward focused, holistic, ministry oriented church in Huy, Belgium 

* Train Belgians for a variety of ministries (evangelism, church- planting, social outreach…) 

* Oversee and mentor the United World Mission missionaries serving in Belgium  as they seek new ways to reach Belgians and especially post-modern young people 

*Lead the Church Planters Forum (a non denomination think tank and support group for church planters working in Belgium)

*Serve as advisor and consultant to pastors serving in Belgium on church growth approach (the subject of the dissertation completed 9/2012)

*Co-lead the Jonah Association (the Belgian branch of the Evangelists’ Forum): a group seeking to help local churches identify, mobilize, train and deploy their lay evangelists.

IN BETWEEN THEY SEEK TO

* Provide leadership as cluster leaders to the UWM missionaries serving in Belgium and Spain.

* Be available for special assignments at the home office or on various fields (teaching, preaching, interviewing candidates, counseling, crisis intervention, policy discussions...) as one of the senior UWM missionaries.
